WebCT at Texas A&M: Getting Started
WebCT is a software package that can help you put your syllabus on the web, post notes and information for your classes, facilitate topic-based class discussions, and more, without coding in HTML or worrying about managing an account on a server. The site lists both TAMU-specific resources, such as free faculty training and information about course conversion, and general resources, such as tutorials for instructors.
WebCT (Curriculum Tool) Vista at Texas A&M
Click on Workshops and Handouts in the top tab bar. Because of significant changes between the former WebCT Standard Edition and the current Vista edition, we do recommend that you take a workshop before trying to design your online curriculum. This site contains information about regularly scheduled workshops and links to handouts and web-based forms to request course sections.
WebCT at Texas A&M: Faculty Resources
This site contains everything from “Before you log into your course” to links and articles about teaching methods when using educational technology.
No coding, just design; this excellent resource is for those putting their first page together or redesigning a site entirely.
