challenge of integrating information technology tools into teaching and

Instructional Technology Forum:
The ITForum uses a target-article style of discussion. Periodically, a
target article about some aspect of instructional technology is posted
and discussed by participants. Web archives of all the articles and

TLT-SWG (published 2-3 times per week):
A highly moderated electronic discussion group focused on issues of
teaching, learning, technology and educational change in higher
education published in a digest format.

An announcement list publishing news stories in education technology
focused on news, trends, and resources for higher education. To

Best Educational E-Practices (online monthly
journal):
A monthly journal of best practices for teaching with technology
produced by Project Eagle at St. Petersburg College in Florida. Read

Educational Technology:
Categorized, annotated links (e.g., higher education, psychology,
humor, prime sites). Definitely worth a once over and several return

First
Monday (published on the first Monday of each month):
A peer reviewed electronic journal about the Internet which carries a
high percentage of articles related to education and technology.
Academics and senior technologists serve as the editorial board. With
past articles (complete with references) titled “The Work of Education
in the Age of E-College” and “Internet Teaching and the Administration
of Knowledge” (search for them!), First Monday is both a resource and
