Career Fair 2008
The 2008 Liberal Arts Career Fair will be held Wednesday, February 20 in Rudder Exhibit Hall from 11 am to 3 pm.
The career fair is an excellent time to get your resume out on the job market and a wonderful chance to hone your skills at presenting yourself to companies who hire Liberal Arts students for internships, co-op’s, and permanent jobs. To learn more about the companies scheduled to come to campus for our fair, we encourage you to visit the Career Fair website often—since new companies are always registering.
On the Career Fair website you can search each company’s website which is hyperlinked to provide you easy access to research the company. It is very important that you come well prepared with knowledge about the companies. It gives you a better chance of consideration for employment than those who come unprepared.
What do I need to wear and bring?
Ladies should wear either a skirt or pant suit, hose, and dress shoes; gentlemen should wear a suit, belt, tie, and coordinating shoes.
Bring multiple copies of your resume. Resumes should be one page maximum and leave a great impression.
For more information on the companies, their expectations of students attending career fairs, how to dress or what to bring, please visit the TAMU Career Center and/or their booth at the fair. They can even help prepare your resume for career fair!
The following groups and companies will be attending the fair:
