Meet Christina Dunn, new Project Coordinator for International Programs

Christina Dunn
Christina Dunn has been hired as the new project coordinator for international programs in the College of Liberal Arts. Dunn replaces Marie des Neiges Leonard, who accepted a faculty tenure-track position at the University of Southern Mississippi in sociology.

Dunn’s main duties include coordinating and developing international programs, activities and opportunities in the College of Liberal Arts; assisting faculty in the development of teaching abroad proposals, study abroad and international exchanges; and expanding international offerings and opportunities to students.

“Dunn comes to the College of Liberal Arts with a wealth of useful experience, from her own study abroad activities as a student to international student and immigration advising, including three years in Texas A&M University’s International Student Services office,” said Pamela Matthews, associate dean of liberal arts.

Dunn has a Bachelor of Arts in International and Regional Studies from the University of the Pacific and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University. Dunn taught English in Japan for two years and speaks Japanese.
