International Research-Related Travel Support
Consistent with the College's and the University's commitment to
further internationalize research and curricula, we are pleased to
announce a College of Liberal Arts program to support the international
research activities of faculty. For some time the College has supported
faculty travel to international conferences in which they participate.
We believe this program should be extended to include support for
international research activities as well.
Eligibility
Only tenured and tenure-track faculty in the College of Liberal Arts
may apply.
Award Amounts
International conference participation support will continue with awards up to $750. For international research, awards up to $1000 are available.
Faculty may be able to make a case for pursuing relevant research
interests in connection with participation in an international
conference thus making efficient use of time and resources. In that
event, faculty may follow “research travel” processes below and request
support beyond the $750 maximum for the international conference.
