- The Texas A&M University Economics Society will be conducting a panel on the financial crisis Oct. 8, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in Allen Building 1002.
- The Economic Society expects the discussion to center around what has happened over the past year in the economy and where we stand on the road to recovery.
Texas A&M's Economics Society to hold panel on financial crisis
The Texas A&M University Economics Society will be conducting a panel the financial crisis Oct. 8th, 2009. Both panels will take place in the Allen Building room 1002 at 6:30 p.m.
The financial crisis panel will include Sorin M. Sorescu, Patricia and Bookman Peters Professor and head of the Department of Finance in the Mays Business School, and Hagen Kim, assistant professor of economics.
The Economic Society expects the discussion to center around what has happened over the past year in the economy and where we stand on the road to recovery.
Questions for the panelists will come from members of the Economics society and will be given to the panelists right before the event.
The Texas A&M Economics Society (TAMES) is an academically based organization closely incorporated with the Department of Economics, focused on promoting both social and professional economic information and networking for economics majors and any student interested in the field of economics.
