Citing presidential politics and policies to make his point, the
leadoff spring commencement speaker at Texas A&M University Friday
urged graduates to “keep thinking” — and specifically to think about
and challenge premises.
One of the most crucial times to think about — and challenge — premises is when the nation is choosing a president, noted Texas A&M Distinguished Professor of Political Science George C. Edwards III, a self-described “professional student of government and politics in America” for the past 35 years.
