Kathleen Clark appointed to IIE’s Fulbright-Hays Program Selection Committee

Kathleen Clark, director of English Language Institute at Texas A&M University, was appointed to the Institute of International Education’s (IIE) Fulbright-Hays Program Selection Committee, effective December 2009 until December 2012.

In her role, Clark will select recipients for English Language Teaching Assistantships in South America.

Kathleen Clark holds a B.A. in Foreign Language (German and Spanish), an M.S. in Guidance Counseling from Pittsburg State University and a Ph.D. in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. She has served as an accreditation site reviewer for the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation and for the Oklahoma Board of Regents. She is Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (2008-2010).

Established in 1974, the ELI offers a wide range of activities designed to develop students’ English language abilities.
