Resources on Diversity
The International and Cultural Diversity requirement encourages all students to learn about attitudes and cultures different from their own. All students must meet this requirement as part of the University's core curriculum. Two courses can be selected from multiple options offered in the college. Students may select, as free electives, courses which address cultural diversity issues in the United States. Courses in this area encourage students to focus on issues of race, ethnicity and gender, and to develop a broader understanding of the diverse cultures and traditions in the United States. Students must take two courses from the following list. If a course listed below also satisfies another University Core Curriculum requirement, it can be used to satisfy both requirements.
