International and Cultural Diversity Requirement
The International and Cultural Diversity requirement encourages all students to learn about attitudes and cultures different from their own. All students must complete six hours as part of the University's core curriculum.
Students must take two courses from this list. If a course also
satisfies another University Core Curriculum requirement, it can be
used to satisfy both requirements.
Students may select, as free electives, courses which address cultural diversity in the United States dealing with issues of race, ethnicity and gender, and developing a broader understanding of the diverse cultures and traditions in the United States.
The College of Liberal Arts provides 134 of the 187 courses that fulfill this requirement. For the complete list, visit the most recent undergraduate catalog.
