What is Cornerstone Day?

Cornerstone Day is an opportunity for our most outstanding and highly-recruited Liberal Arts students to visit our campus, speak with advisors and professors in their prospective major, and receive answers to any questions they may have about Texas A&M University, the College of Liberal Arts, or their major. You will also have a chance to explore the Cornerstone Program learning community - a select group of students who will embark on a two-year program that will expose them to the best that the College of Liberal Arts has to offer, including international study and our very best professors.

What is the College of Liberal Arts?

The College of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M encompasses majors from Economics and History to English to Psychology and Communication. Liberal Arts is the largest college on the Texas A&M campus, and teaches more courses than any other college, hence our nickname, the Cornerstone College. See the full list of degrees offered within the college.

What do Liberal Arts Students do?

Our students go on to careers in business, law, medicine, social services, education and government, as well as employment in the private sector. A Liberal Arts degree guarantees that students have a very broad, flexible educational experience while at the same time giving them a great deal of specific knowledge in their major. Our students are among the best-prepared graduates in the nation for the ever increasing demands of today’s economy.

Why should I attend?

You will learn an invaluable amount of information about Texas A&M in general and the College of Liberal Arts. Also, you will see why we are proud to be Aggies and why you should be too!
